On July 28, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an exchange and discussion meeting with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment under the Ministry of Water Resources, the Analytical Testing Center of the Chengdu Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, CAS.

At the symposium, each party introduced its organization’s basic information, research areas, technological strengths, and past achievements. Participants engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as geological hazard research, ecological geology, and geophysical exploration, and reached a consensus on further strengthening cooperation in scientific research and application.

Leveraging their respective strengths, we will promote integrated industry-academia-research collaboration across multiple dimensions—including securing market projects, applying for scientific research grants, sharing and utilizing geological data, and cultivating talent—to accelerate the commercialization of research findings.

In the future, all parties will focus on ecological restoration and sustainable resource development, working together to tackle complex environmental and resource challenges. They will provide robust technical support for major national infrastructure projects and firmly establish a safeguarding framework to ensure national ecological and environmental security.
