Capability Enhancement Year | The Geophysical Exploration Institute Participates in the 2025 Chengdu “Two-Way, Two-Step” Supply-Demand Matching Event for Hundreds of PhDs and Hundreds of Enterprises

To deeply implement the special campaign "Year of Capability Enhancement," on May 30—the Ninth National Science and Technology Workers' Day—the Institute of Geophysical Exploration participated in the 2025 Chengdu “Two-way, Two-Step” Supply-Demand Matching Event for 100 Postdocs and 100 Enterprises, hosted by the Chengdu Association for Science and Technology. The event aims to establish a platform for connecting science and technology innovation resources, thereby facilitating a precise match between the innovation needs of Chengdu-based tech companies and the high-quality scientific and technological contributions of young doctoral researchers.

At the event site, Wang Anping, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation & R&D Center at the Geophysical Exploration Institute and Head of the Academician Expert Workstation, presented a detailed overview titled “Integrated Geophysical Exploration Technologies for the Sichuan Changning-Weiyuan National Shale Gas Demonstration Zone Project.” He showcased the latest research findings and technological advantages in the oil and gas resource sector, shared in-depth insights into the demands for technological innovation, and engaged in multifaceted exchanges with participating enterprises and doctoral talents on topics such as digitalization and intelligent equipment development. This interaction fostered mutual advancement in both innovation and talent development.


In this event, the Geophysical Exploration Institute actively put into practice the Group’s innovation-driven approach—“innovation-driven, focus on core businesses, digital empowerment, and collaborative development.” Leveraging its own professional strengths and fostering deep collaboration with research institutions, the Institute continues to promote the commercialization of technological achievements and enhance its innovation capabilities. This effort supports the Group in tackling technical challenges and driving industrial development in the field of geological exploration, thereby contributing its specialized expertise to advancing technological progress across the industry.
