The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a special conference in 2024 for mid-level cadres to report on their duties, responsibilities, and integrity, as well as a special reporting session for secretaries of grassroots Party organizations on their work in Party building, accompanied by a democratic evaluation.

On January 20, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized a special conference featuring mid-level cadres’ reports on their duties, responsibilities, and integrity for 2024, as well as a special report by secretaries of grassroots Party organizations on their work in Party building, accompanied by democratic evaluations. A total of 47 participants attended the meeting, including members of the institute’s leadership team, senior managers, Party branch secretaries, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, deputy secretary of the Party general branch, member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and chairman of the trade union. Yu Changheng, deputy secretary of the Party general branch and general manager, delivered a concluding speech.


The evaluation conference adopted a combined approach of written reports and oral presentations. Eighteen mid-level cadres delivered reports on their duties, responsibilities, and integrity to the conference, while four Party branch secretaries presented reports on their work in strengthening Party building. Attendees conducted democratic evaluations of the mid-level cadres and Party branch secretaries’ performance in Party-building work.


The meeting called for fully building consensus and establishing a scientific and rigorous assessment system, with a focus on enabling cadres and employees to both rise and fall in their positions. It emphasized leveraging the assessment mechanism as a guiding force, setting clear benchmarks for practical work and tangible achievements, and linking assessment results closely with incentives, rewards, and punishments, thereby effectively boosting the motivation and vitality of the cadre and employee队伍 to take initiative and get things done.
