The Geophysical Exploration Institute conducted inspections and offered condolences at the fracture monitoring project in northern Shaanxi.
As winter has arrived and the cold is growing stronger, from December 23 to 25, Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a working group to the frontline of the Shaanbei Fracturing Monitoring Project to carry out a “Warmth in Winter, Hearts Filled with Festivities”慰问 activity. They brought heartfelt warmth and sincere care to the employees who are steadfastly working on the construction site amid the freezing winter. Staff members from the Institute’s Discipline Inspection Office and the Equipment Safety Supervision Department accompanied them on this visit.

After conducting a detailed inspection of construction safety and operational procedures at the field work site, the working group immediately organized a symposium and exchange session for all project personnel. The project leader provided the working group with a comprehensive briefing on the project’s basic information, construction progress, key challenges and critical points of the project, as well as aspects related to safe production.

Zou Zhongping briefed the attendees on the recent progress of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s key tasks, with a particular focus on the implementation of safety production, standardized management, and integrity in professional conduct. He held heart-to-heart talks with project leaders and frontline employees. He reminded all members of the project team to: first, firmly uphold the bottom line of safe production—keeping the string of safety production taut at all times and ensuring that there are no flaws in safety practices; second, strengthen compliance awareness—strictly adhering to the institute’s rules and regulations, ensuring that all work is carried out within a framework of legality and compliance, and effectively implementing requirements for integrity, safety, and standardized practice at every post and in every stage of the project.

During this period, Zou Zhongping, representing the Party branch and the trade union of the institute, presented warm items such as scarves, gloves, and hats to frontline workers at the project site. At the same time, he reminded everyone to pay close attention to keeping warm and to make thorough preparations for carrying out fieldwork under extreme weather conditions, ensuring the smooth implementation of the entire project’s production.
