The Geophysical Exploration Institute held a New Year Gala and慰问活动 for employees titled “Snake Dance to Welcome the New Year, Together Painting the Future.”
On the evening of January 21, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a New Year’s Gala and welfare event titled “Snake Dance to Welcome the New Year, Together Painting Our Shared Future.” All the institute’s staff gathered together to jointly create a vibrant picture of unity, friendship, and proactive spirit for the coming year. Amidst laughter, joyful conversations, and heartwarming interactions, they embarked on a promising new journey for the year ahead.
Happy Game
At the event site, the eight teams eagerly competed against each other, driven by the incentive of points, and fully immersed themselves in each game segment.
When playing the balloon-bursting game, the team members resembled agile warriors, seamlessly balancing offense and defense; the popping sounds of balloons mingled with bursts of laughter. In the "Magic of Love" circle dance, everyone held hands tightly, working together in perfect harmony and displaying remarkable chemistry. During the song-title guessing round, employees eagerly jumped in to answer, their voices melodious and sweet; when racing to grab water bottles, they were fully focused and moved with remarkable agility. The "chick laying eggs" activity was brimming with fun, while the balloon-and-cup relay tested both skill and teamwork. Even the blindfolded bread-feeding challenge brought endless laughs. Each game vividly highlighted the charm of team collaboration.
Exciting program
The performance segment of the program was brimming with highlights. The Water Conservation Design Department’s song-and-dance performance, “Dedication Frontline Alliance,” was bursting with energy and vitality. The Science and Technology Innovation Center’s poetry recitation, “Ode to Geophysical Exploration,” was heartfelt and passionately inspiring. The Earthquake Exploration Department’s solo rendition of “Chile Song” was ethereal and melodious. The Office, Party and Masses Department, Discipline Inspection Office, and Audit & Legal Department’s “Funny Dubbing” was witty and humorous. And the Logging Station’s solo performance of “As You Wish” was deeply moving and touching.
The lucky draw was interspersed throughout the event, with third prize, second prize, first prize, and the grand prize revealed one after another. Each drawing sparked cheers and applause, and the winners’ surprise and happiness were evident on their faces, pushing the atmosphere to a climax. After the lucky draw concluded, company leaders extended their blessings and presented gifts of comfort to the employees who were still working tirelessly on the project frontline as well as to all the staff present at the event venue.
During this Spring Festival Gala and慰问活动, the staff of the Geophysical Exploration Institute not only returned home brimming with joy and prizes, but also grew closer in spirit and deepened their bonds through repeated instances of teamwork. Hand in hand, they poured their sweat onto the gaming arena, shone brightly on the performance stage, and together composed a magnificent ode to the Institute’s unity and relentless pursuit of progress.
