Sichuan Resources Geophysical Exploration Holds a Strategic Development Seminar
On November 10, the Sichuan Resource Geophysical Exploration Development Strategy Seminar was held in Chengdu. The seminar aimed to further discuss and formulate development plans for the next five years and beyond, taking into account the current status of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s development. Attending the meeting were members of the Institute’s leadership team, experts, heads of various departments, and representatives of project managers. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
At the meeting, heads of various departments engaged in lively discussions, each focusing on how to foster innovative development within their respective geophysical exploration specialties and how to better align management practices with the Group’s various systems, ensuring that these systems are implemented without compromise. The attending leadership team and experts offered their insights and suggestions based on everyone’s discussions and also delivered special presentations drawing on their own work experience.
Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, emphasized that in the next phase of work: First, we must build a robust platform and optimize our internal organizational structure. We should gradually establish a more rational configuration of management and production departments, thereby optimizing personnel allocation and clarifying functional responsibilities. Second, we need to refine our development strategy and prepare specialized reports. Based on the outcomes of the discussions and in light of actual work conditions, heads of each department should each prepare nine thematic reports, using high-level reports to guide high-quality development. Third, we must make thorough preparations for the year-end financial closing. With the concerted efforts of all staff members across the institute, this year’s production and business targets are nearly achieved. We must strictly follow the Group’s relevant requirements to develop a year-end financial closing plan, strengthen the division of responsibilities, enhance close communication and collaboration among departments, and focus on improving the quality of the financial closing. This will lay a solid foundation for accurately and truthfully reflecting the institute’s financial position and operational results, ensuring a successful conclusion to this year’s work.
During this strategic seminar, everyone pooled their wisdom and offered valuable suggestions, further clarifying our thinking on the current development status and future direction of the Geophysical Exploration Institute. We have reached a strategic consensus and achieved the desired outcomes. Moving forward, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will remain committed to the theme of high-quality development, continue to liberate our minds, benchmark against best practices, and thoroughly study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. We will leverage high-quality Party building to drive high-quality development, ignite a new engine for reform and development through innovation in our business models, empower new growth momentum with scientific and technological innovation, activate internal driving forces through market-oriented management mechanisms, strengthen brand influence through comprehensive and meticulous management, and enhance the modernization of our governance system and governance capabilities with a scientific and efficient governance model. In doing so, we will build core competitiveness that reflects our unique development characteristics and, with even better achievements, help Sichuan’s resources write a brilliant new chapter in this new journey.
