The Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the 2023 Work Conference on Safety Production.
The 2023 Work Conference on Safe Production of the Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics was recently held in Chengdu. The institute’s leadership team, members of the Party branch committee, senior managers, and all employees based in Chengdu attended the meeting, which was chaired by Liu Jinhui, a member of the institute’s Party branch committee.
The meeting conveyed the guiding principles from Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, as well as Li Shirong, Member of the Group Party Committee and Chief Engineer, during the Group’s 2023 Safety Production Conference.
Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Institute, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, emphasized the need to earnestly implement the spirit of the Group’s Work Conference on Safe Production.
First, we must fully implement the overall requirements of the safety production responsibility system, ensuring coverage both horizontally and vertically. We need to conduct thorough safety design briefings for each project and accurately identify potential risk points.
Second, we must strictly enforce the group’s and the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s relevant safety production regulations and ensure that training and certification renewal are properly carried out for personnel engaged in special operations and radiation workers.
Third, we must focus on strengthening project management, refine and improve the assessment forms for safe production work, and ensure that photographic and video records are properly kept during safety inspections.
Fourth, we must strictly adhere to the Group’s relevant requirements in establishing and implementing the safety production reward and punishment system, standardize the use of special safety funds, and create fixed accounting items in financial records. Furthermore, we need to refine management practices in areas such as migrant worker management, fire safety, and overall safety.
Gu Zhiwen, a member of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer, summarized the 2022 safety production work of the Geophysical Exploration Institute and made arrangements and deployments for the 2023 safety production work. He emphasized that in 2023, we must continue to intensify safety production management efforts, standardize safety production practices, focus on addressing issues at their source, foster a positive safety production environment, and further consolidate the excellent status of safety production.
Zeng Lingdong, the representative of the 2022 Advanced Individual in Work Safety, delivered a speech at the meeting and shared his experience in work safety.
