The Sichuan Institute of Resource Geophysics and the Qinghai Coal Geology Bureau Held an Exchange and Symposium.
On June 9, the Sichuan Institute of Geophysical Exploration and Prospecting held an exchange and discussion meeting in Chengdu with a delegation led by Wang Minghong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Qinghai Coal Geological Bureau, and Li Lintao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Qinghai Coal Geological Exploration Institute. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and Prospecting, along with relevant personnel, attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Wang Minghong and his delegation visited the geophysical exploration institute’s “internet-famous check-in spot” and learned about the institute’s achievements in scientific and technological innovation and industry-academia-research cooperation through its four core technologies.
At the meeting, Wang Minghong provided a detailed introduction to the Qinghai Coal Geology Bureau’s historical evolution, personnel structure, core business, technological innovations, market expansion efforts, and development vision. Li Lintao gave a detailed briefing on the development status of the Qinghai Coal Geology Exploration Institute.
Zhang Guangda highlighted how, in recent years, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has leveraged integrated engineering geophysical technologies to tap into the markets for solid mineral resources and energy minerals. Relying on the Academician He Jishan Workstation and four young innovation studios, the institute has actively pursued technological innovation, successfully applying core geophysical techniques such as wide-field electromagnetic methods and semi-airborne electromagnetic methods. With its outstanding technical quality and comprehensive technical services, the institute has established a strong market reputation.
Wang Minghong expressed his appreciation for the remarkable achievements made by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration in all its endeavors, and noted that this visit had been highly rewarding. Both institutions share similarities and complementary strengths in their respective natures and business areas. He expressed hope that in the future, they would strengthen communication and exchanges in the field of geophysical exploration, collaborate with each other, leverage their respective advantages, promote coordinated development, and make greater contributions to the economic development of both the nation and local regions.
