The Institute of Geophysical Exploration consistently conducts regular summaries to promote the improvement of water and soil conservation efforts.
On July 31, the Water and Soil Conservation Design Department of the Geophysical Exploration Institute held its monthly summary and exchange meeting, taking into account the recent work progress. The meeting was chaired by Li Zhen, Head of the Water and Soil Conservation Design Department, and attended and guided by Gu Zhiwen, a member of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer.
At the meeting, project managers and members from various water conservation projects first introduced their respective work progress and shared highlights from their efforts. Subsequently, participants engaged in a discussion and learning session based on the actual conditions of their projects, focusing on the "Technical Standards for Soil and Water Conservation in Production and Construction Projects" as well as the latest policies and regulations. Through this exchange and study, water conservation staff further strengthened their understanding and application of regulatory documents.
Gu Zhiwen affirmed the recent achievements made by the Water and Soil Conservation Design Department and expressed strong support for the department’s practice of regularly summarizing its work to continuously enhance quality. He emphasized that it is essential to systematically summarize work on a regular basis, carefully identify existing shortcomings and weaknesses, broaden perspectives through exchanges, and bolster confidence in our work by sharing successful practices. In this way, with an even more vigorous spirit and more solid measures, we can continue to leverage our strengths and wholeheartedly drive the institute’s water and soil conservation efforts to new heights in the coming period.
