Zhang Guangda went to the project site to conduct a special inspection on fracture monitoring and deliver cooling supplies.
On August 15, Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to the Wei 217 platform in the central district of Neijiang City to conduct a special inspection of fracture monitoring.
Zhang Guangda and his delegation visited the Fracturing Monitoring Project Office, the job site, and the command center one after another to inspect the project’s progress, gain an understanding of its implementation, and warmly comfort the frontline workers by bringing them cool refreshments and heartfelt care.
Subsequently, the inspection team organized a special meeting on fracture monitoring via video conference. The heads of five operational sites—Weiy217 Platform in the central district of Neijiang City, Yi212 Platform in Xuzhou District, Yibin; Changning H30 Platform in Xingwen County, Yibin; Zu201H16 Platform in Dazu District, Chongqing; and Well J30-5-P16 in Otog Banner, Ordos, Inner Mongolia—enthusiastically reported on the composition of project equipment, software applications, vehicle arrangements, as well as the project team’s spirit of close collaboration, determination to overcome difficulties, and their plans and suggestions for the next phase of work.
Zhang Guangda stated.
Since the Spring Festival, more than 80 personnel—comprising five acquisition teams, five interpretation teams, and one central data processing center—from the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s Fracturing Monitoring Project Department have been working tirelessly on the front lines of the project. To date, they have completed fracture monitoring for 6 tight sandstone gas wells, 2 carbonate rock acidized gas wells, 37 shale gas wells, and 4 coalbed methane wells—a total of 49 wells—and have achieved remarkable results in fracture monitoring.
Zhang Guangda emphasized.
First, it is necessary to standardize data collection at project sites to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data.
Second, make good use of the dynamic monitoring results that generate maps every 5 to 10 minutes, promptly displaying the propagation status of the fracturing fluid, guiding on-site fracturing operations, and providing technical support and services for the project.
Third, work closely with the owner unit to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
Fourth, we must firmly establish a sense of safety, strengthen daily management effectively, promptly eliminate safety hazards, and ensure that production safety is foolproof.
At the meeting, Zhang Guangda also delivered a briefing on the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee, drawing on the actual situation of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
