The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held an exchange meeting and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xi'an Northwest Nonferrous Geochemical Exploration Team Co., Ltd.
On August 22, the Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Geophysical Exploration Institute held an exchange and discussion meeting in Chengdu with Guo Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Director of the Xi'an Northwest Nonferrous Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration Team, who was visiting. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, along with members of the leadership team based in Chengdu and heads of relevant departments, attended the meeting.
At the symposium, Zhang Guangda highlighted how, in recent years, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration has actively pursued technological innovation in the solid mineral and oil-and-gas service markets. By successfully applying integrated geophysical exploration techniques and wide-area electromagnetic methods, the institute has gradually developed its own core technologies and distinctive features in areas such as oil-and-gas well platform exploration and fracture monitoring, achieving remarkable results. Guo Wenbo, on the other hand, focused on introducing the development history of the Northwest Nonferrous Metals Geochemical Exploration Team, its technological R&D efforts, and its work in deep-earth exploration and metallic mineral exploration using geophysical and geochemical methods and technologies. Based on their respective strengths, both sides also engaged in an in-depth discussion on topics such as complementary advantages in key industries, application of geophysical exploration methods, and introduction of advanced equipment.
Finally, witnessed jointly by all attendees, Zhang Guangda and Guo Wenbo, representing their respective sides, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties unanimously agreed that the two organizations have distinct strengths and enjoy high reputations within their industries, each possessing unique advantages and demonstrating strong complementary capabilities. The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will further enhance the application of geophysical and geochemical exploration technologies in solid mineral exploration and oil-and-gas exploration, while also broadening the scope of technology promotion and strengthening the foundation of cooperation, thereby ensuring the continued advancement of the strategic partnership between the two sides.
