The purpose of this meeting was to help newly hired employees gain a deeper understanding of the Institute’s development history, experience its corporate culture, and become familiar with the current situation and tasks facing the Institute’s ongoing development, thereby facilitating a smooth transition for new employees, enabling them to integrate more quickly into the work environment and their new team. Members of the Institute’s leadership team, heads of various departments, and 14 newly hired employees attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the new employees introduced themselves one by one, showcasing their special talents, sharing their insights from learning experiences, and outlining their career plans—demonstrating the vigor and vitality of young people in the new era. Six new employees were selected as representatives to deliver special speeches, expressing their gratitude toward the institute’s leaders and colleagues from three perspectives: gratitude, pride, and expectations. They emphasized that joining the Geophysical Exploration Institute family was an immense honor, and they would cherish this opportunity, live up to everyone’s expectations, and devote themselves to their work with full enthusiasm and high spirits, contributing their part to the institute’s success.

He shared his insights from the past 13 years working at the Geophysical Exploration Institute, emphasizing that the field is the primary battleground for geophysical exploration work. He stressed that everyone must be full of ideals and passion, and that to grow and thrive, one must master genuine skills and expertise, produce real results through diligent research, and thus unleash true innovation.

The leadership team of the Geophysical Exploration Institute each offered words of encouragement, urging every new employee to start from a fresh beginning and embark on a new journey, and expressing their hope that these employees will gradually grow into key talents for the Institute.

Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Institute, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, welcomed the new employees and, drawing on his own work experience as well as the development journey of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, offered them earnest advice from four key perspectives: being down-to-earth, taking initiative and assuming responsibility, cultivating innovative thinking, and growing together with the organization. He emphasized that the newly hired employees are highly qualified, professionally competent, and full of vitality. He encouraged them to quickly integrate into the team, find their rightful place, and take an active role in their work—only then can they achieve outstanding results in their professional journey and successfully make the transition from campus life to the workplace, from student status to that of a key employee.

Embracing the new, uniting our strengths, and pursuing our dreams—this is precisely the right moment for youth to set sail. Through this welcome meeting, the new employees deepened their understanding of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, gained valuable insights and heartfelt wishes shared by their leaders and colleagues, and felt the warmth and care of the big family that is the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.
