“Start running as soon as spring arrives—launch into a sprint right from the start!” The Geophysical Exploration Institute is seizing every opportunity to resume work and production, striving for a strong start to the year.

On February 18, the first day of resuming work and production, the Geophysical Exploration Institute kicked off its recovery efforts with a spirit of "running at full speed as soon as spring begins and sprinting from the very start," striving to achieve a strong opening performance and driving project advancement for sustained development.

The wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring project for Well 212 in Tongliang, Chongqing, commenced on February 18, marking the opening shot for achieving the annual target of 30 million work units in fracture monitoring. At Well Ning 209H73, preparatory work has already begun for monitoring at four wells, and the projects are set to start soon.

The holographic electromagnetic exploration project for the remaining resources on the four platforms in the Changning Well Area has resumed work. The technical proposal review is scheduled to be completed by the end of February, and construction operations are set to begin in March.

The research project undertaken by the Geophysical Exploration Institute—the joint modeling, inversion, and interpretation study for well-logging and seismic data jointly conducted by the Southwest Branch of CNPC—has successfully completed its final acceptance. Two invention patents have passed the preliminary review and entered the substantive examination stage; one software copyright has already been approved. Additionally, one paper has been submitted to an international conference, and five papers have been published in Chinese core journals.
