The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a democratic evaluation meeting to assess mid-level cadres whose probationary periods ended in 2024.
On November 19, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized a democratic evaluation meeting to assess mid-level cadres whose probation periods for 2024 had come to an end. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union. A total of 47 participants attended the meeting, including members of the institute’s leadership team, members of the Party Branch Committee, senior managers, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives.
At the meeting, five mid-level cadres who were under assessment delivered reports on their probationary periods, reviewing and summarizing their work achievements and highlights over the past year, as well as identifying and analyzing their own shortcomings and problems. Attendees completed the “Democratic Evaluation Form for the Completion of Probationary Periods of Leading Cadres,” using anonymous voting to provide objective and fair evaluations of the cadres whose probationary periods had ended.
The assessment of cadres upon completion of their probationary period is a necessary procedure for establishing the right orientation in personnel selection and making scientific decisions on cadre appointment. It is also an important measure to encourage cadres to take responsibility and demonstrate initiative, and to inspire their enthusiasm for getting things done. Moving forward, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will continue to strengthen the supervision and management of cadres, and make every effort to build a team of cadres who are politically strong, capable of taking responsibility, innovative and reform-minded, highly accomplished, and upright and廉洁. This will provide robust talent support for the company’s high-quality development.
