On October 16, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In accordance with the unified arrangements made by the Party Committee of Sichuan Resources and the Party Branch of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized its Party members and cadres based in Chengdu to watch the live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the 20th National Congress. At the same time, all Party members and cadres in various project departments were required to watch the broadcast and carefully listen to the report delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping.

After watching the opening ceremony, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration quickly kicked off a vigorous wave of study, discussion, and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress, we will confidently and self-reliantly advance on this new great journey, uphold integrity while fostering innovation, press ahead with vigor and determination, and make every possible contribution to fully building a modern socialist country and achieving the second centenary goal—thus advancing with Chinese-style modernization to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
