The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the 2022 Annual Meeting for Mid-Level Cadres to Report on Their Performance, Integrity, Responsibilities, and Conduct, as well as to Undergo Democratic Assessment.
On January 13, 2023, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a meeting to review and evaluate the performance, integrity, and responsibilities of mid-level cadres for the year 2022, as well as conduct a democratic assessment. Members of the institute’s leadership team, members of the Party branch committee, mid-level cadres, and employee representatives attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the six primary heads of functional departments and branch secretaries delivered on-site reports on their performance, integrity, responsibilities, and compliance with integrity standards. They mainly reported on their working methods, key achievements, existing challenges, plans for 2023, as well as their fulfillment of the principal responsibility for building a clean and honest Party style and their personal conduct in upholding integrity. Other mid-level cadres submitted written reports on their performance, integrity, responsibilities, and compliance with integrity standards.
Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the Institute, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, gave full affirmation to this session of reporting on duties, integrity, responsibilities, and integrity. He emphasized that the purpose of this meeting is to strengthen cadre management, comprehensively, accurately, objectively, and fairly assess and evaluate the overall performance of mid-level cadres at the Geophysical Exploration Institute, enhance their ability to plan and execute tasks, and foster sustained momentum in geophysical exploration work through summarizing and reflecting on past experiences, staying firmly committed to our goals, and uniting our efforts to move forward with determination. At the same time, as the Spring Festival draws near, Zhang Guangda extended New Year greetings to all employees.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants—guided by the principles of objectivity, fairness, and truthfulness—carefully completed the democratic evaluation forms in strict accordance with the scoring criteria. They assigned scores to the company’s middle-level managers across five key areas: morality, competence, diligence, performance, and integrity. According to the evaluation statistics, all assessed individuals received ratings of “excellent” or higher, and the outstanding performance of the middle-level managers earned unanimous recognition from everyone.
