The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Holds a Symposium with Xinsun Mining to Discuss Science and Technology Innovation Work.
On July 17, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a symposium and exchange with Shen Huanhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Xinshun Mining, who was visiting the institute, to discuss science and technology innovation initiatives. The symposium was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.
At the meeting, Zhang Guangda shared the Institute of Geophysical Exploration’s relevant experience in applying for Sichuan Province’s demonstration projects for technology transfer and commercialization, high-tech enterprises, specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises, and innovation studios. He also highlighted the institute’s achievements and cutting-edge practices in leveraging new technologies and methodologies to carry out geophysical exploration projects with distinctive features. In particular, he focused on introducing the principles, characteristics, and application case studies of the institute’s recently developed novel methods and technologies for fine-scale deep mineral exploration.
Shen Huanhua introduced the current status of Xinsun Mining’s industrial development and its science and technology innovation efforts. She expressed hope that the company could strengthen industrial collaboration in areas such as deep exploration and discovery of hidden mineral deposits, as well as in the application for science and technology projects. By leveraging their respective strengths, the companies could jointly apply for projects, carry out cutting-edge scientific and technological research, further enhance their innovation capabilities, and step up efforts to commercialize research findings.
Both sides also engaged in an in-depth discussion on several aspects, including the establishment of high-tech enterprises and the construction and management of innovation studios. Moving forward, the two sides will collaborate closely to deepen their cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, contributing their wisdom and strength to help the group assume its primary responsibility for the exploration and development of strategic mineral resources with technological expertise across the province.
