The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a Party Discipline Study and Warning Education Conference.
On May 27, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a Party discipline study and warning education meeting. Through case-based explanations of Party discipline, the meeting aimed to educate and guide Party members and cadres to firmly establish awareness of Party discipline and regulations, thereby strengthening their ideological defenses against corruption—fostering a mindset that deters corruption, makes corruption impossible, and discourages the desire to engage in corrupt practices. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager. Members of the leadership team and mid-level cadres based in Chengdu attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks on the Party’s disciplinary construction. Participants jointly watched the cautionary educational film “Continuously Intensifying Efforts—Deepening Progress, Episode 4: Promoting the ‘Three No Corruptions’ in a Holistic Manner.” They also studied typical cases of disciplinary violations and illegal activities that have occurred in recent years, using these cases as lessons and drawing insights from them to keep the warning bell ringing constantly.
Meeting requirements:
First, we must take learning party discipline as the foundation and strengthen our awareness of rules and regulations. All Party branches and departments should take the Party’s political development as the guiding principle, earnestly advance education and study on Party discipline, solidify the ideological foundation for integrity and self-discipline, and consciously remain constantly vigilant and practice self-reflection and self-restraint.
Second, take clarifying discipline as the foundation and standardize words and deeds. We must use negative role models as mirrors for self-reflection, focus on identifying risks in key positions, areas, and roles, and strengthen education and reminders for those around us and the matters affecting them. This will help genuinely instill a strong awareness of red lines and bottom-line thinking.
Third, take compliance with discipline as the key and firmly uphold the bottom line of self-discipline. Party members and cadres must engrave the Party’s discipline and rules deeply in their hearts, transforming the outcomes of Party discipline study and education into a powerful driving force for promoting high-quality development within the institute, and ensuring that Party discipline study and education, the “Integrity Cells” initiative, and actual work are integrated and mutually reinforcing.
