The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the second theoretical study session for the Party Branch Committee and a special seminar for 2024.
On May 13, the theoretical study group of the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute held its second study session of 2024. The session was themed “Study the Regulations, Uphold Discipline, Cultivate Reverence, and Adhere to the Bottom Line.” Participants studied the Communiqué of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, excerpts from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution and his key remarks on carrying out disciplinary education, as well as Chapters One and Two of the “Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China.” The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute. Members of the leading team and all Party members based in Chengdu attended the session.
The meeting emphasized the following points: First, we must use study to foster a sound work ethic and build a geophysical exploration team that is loyal, clean, and capable. Through continuous learning, we should strengthen political loyalty, consistently cultivate integrity, and effectively enhance our capacity for taking responsibility. Together, we can create a positive, healthy, and upright political environment, continuously boosting our enthusiasm and vigor in pursuing tasks and taking on responsibilities. Second, we must fulfill our duties conscientiously, hold ourselves strictly accountable, take full responsibility for our own actions, and rigorously manage those under our supervision. We should focus on our own learning and education, setting an exemplary example for others. Third, we must elevate our perspective, firmly uphold the “Two Establishments,” and resolutely practice the “Two Safeguards.” We should study thoroughly and in accordance with the original texts, connect our studies to practical situations, and wholeheartedly safeguard a political environment characterized by integrity and uprightness.
Since the launch of Party discipline and education, the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute has attached great importance to this initiative and taken swift action. It has scientifically formulated a work plan, carefully organized centralized study sessions and exchange seminars, and fostered a strong learning atmosphere throughout the institute. The disciplinary awareness of Party members and cadres has been continuously enhanced. While regarding the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party as a long-term strategy and an enduring task, the institute has also integrated it with the development of new-quality productive forces. Upholding a problem-oriented approach and maintaining strategic composure, it continues to drive high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute through high-quality technological innovation.
