Upholding Party Discipline and Promoting Integrity—The Geophysical Exploration Institute Holds a Mobilization and Deployment Meeting for Party Discipline Study and Education
To further implement the requirements of the Group Party Committee’s “Implementation Plan for Conducting Party Discipline Study and Education Throughout the Group,” on April 18, the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a special meeting to study and deploy related work on party discipline study and education. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union. Members of the Institute’s leadership team, senior managers, mid-level cadres, and all Party members stationed in Chengdu attended the meeting.
The meeting conveyed and studied the important speech and guiding instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Party discipline study and education. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union, read out the “Plan for Party Discipline Study and Education at the Geophysical Exploration Institute,” made arrangements and deployments for the Party discipline study and education work, and put forward requirements in four aspects: firmly assuming and fulfilling responsibilities, ensuring practical effectiveness of the work, intensifying publicity efforts, and resolutely avoiding formalism.
Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, emphasized that this Party discipline study and education campaign is a crucial step in strengthening Party discipline building in the new era and promoting the in-depth development of comprehensive and strict Party governance. All Party members and cadres must thoroughly study and implement the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Party discipline study and education, regard this campaign as a vital political task, start with learning and understanding Party discipline, take the Group’s special campaign “Three Transformations and Three Enhancements” as a key driver, closely integrate it with the “Integrity Cell Project,” focus strongly on developing new-quality productive forces, break ideological barriers to drive breakthroughs in action, ensure that Party discipline study and education is carried out in depth and effectively through sound work styles, and provide strong political guarantees for the high-quality and healthy development of geophysical exploration in the new era.
