The Institute of Geophysical Exploration Conducts Collective Talks with Cadres Prior to Their Appointment
On December 4, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a collective talk session for its newly appointed cadres. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute, engaged in an in-depth exchange with the newly appointed cadres, taking into account their individual backgrounds and job performance. He encouraged them to quickly adapt to their new roles, muster up their enthusiasm, and, through concrete actions, contribute their wisdom and strength to the practice of promoting high-quality development of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.

First, we must elevate our political awareness. We should firmly establish the “Four Consciousnesses,” confidently uphold the “Four Self-Confidences,” and resolutely safeguard the “Two Upholds.” We must tackle practical problems and resolve difficulties, fulfill our responsibilities in our work, and bring honor to the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
Second, we must persist in theoretical study. Always regard learning as the foundation for establishing oneself and securing one’s livelihood, and make earnest efforts to forge our convictions through study, enhance our wisdom through study, rectify our conduct through study, and promote practical action through study. We must steadfastly use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to unite our hearts and fortify our souls.
Third, we must proactively step up and take responsibility. We should enhance our overall competence, bravely shoulder hardships, tackle difficulties, bear heavy responsibilities, and face risks—growing and achieving success in our endeavors and undertakings.
Fourth, we must maintain integrity and self-discipline. We must constantly fortify our ideological defenses, firmly uphold the bottom line of honest governance, consistently demand strictness in our conduct, strictly adhere to norms, and rigorously impose self-restraint. We must always remain upright and incorruptible in our work discipline.
Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union at the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, held a collective integrity talk with the newly appointed cadres, urging them to earnestly study, understand, and abide by the Party’s discipline, conscientiously fulfill their “dual responsibilities” for each post, stay within the legal and disciplinary boundaries, strictly practice self-discipline and self-awareness, proactively accept supervision, set an example through their own conduct, and lead and inspire work enthusiasm with excellent work styles, thereby enhancing the quality and efficiency of their work.
At the meeting, the newly appointed officials each delivered statements expressing their commitment. They all pledged that, in their new positions, they would live up to the organization’s expectations and trust, diligently study and think critically to enhance their capabilities, work hard and take responsibility seriously, and make new contributions to the development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute through fresh efforts and outstanding achievements.
