The Institute of Geophysical Exploration organizes integrity culture education activities.
To deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, continuously promote education on integrity culture, and strengthen discipline and work style building, on November 22, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration organized mid-level and higher-ranking cadres and Party members in Chengdu to visit the “Floral Words, Honest Hearts” Integrity Culture Education Base in Wenjiang, where they carried out an integrity culture education activity themed “Reflecting on Floral Words, Nurturing an Honest Heart.” The event featured a special lecture by Professor Huang Xun from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, followed by a tour and study session at the education base.
During the special lecture, Professor Huang Xun delivered a presentation titled “An Exploration of Integrity Psychology.” Using psychological tests and case studies, he analyzed the underlying motivations behind corrupt behavior and guided participants on how to better manage their own desires and needs, thereby enhancing the value and meaning of their lives. Afterwards, during the museum visit, everyone listened attentively to the explanations, carefully examined the richly illustrated and informative exhibition on integrity education, and immersed themselves in the culture of integrity, thoughtfully summarizing and reflecting on their experiences.
Through the special-topic classes and study tours, participants unanimously expressed that this kind of integrity education activity—not merely reading documents aloud or forcibly imposing information—has deeply stirred their minds and enabled them to recognize the importance and urgency of strengthening efforts to prevent corruption, resist corruption, and promote integrity. Moving forward, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will, in light of its actual work, continue to regard reinforcing the building of an integrity culture as a fundamental undertaking for simultaneously addressing the issues of “daring not to be corrupt,” “being unable to be corrupt,” and “not wanting to be corrupt.” It will further educate and guide all cadres and employees to sharpen their work styles, cultivate a pragmatic, realistic, and solid professional ethos, and provide strong disciplinary guarantees for the institute’s high-quality development.
