Reprint | Introduction to the Key Sections of Volume I of “Selected Works of Xi Jinping”
The “Selected Works of Xi Jinping,” edited by the Editorial Committee for Documents of the CPC Central Committee, opens with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, titled “Upholding the Great Banner of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and Striving Together to Fully Build a Modern Socialist Country.” The remaining works are arranged in chronological order. Volume One includes important writings by General Secretary Xi Jinping from November 2012 to October 2017, comprising a total of 71 pieces—including speeches, addresses, instructions, directives, and orders—and some of these works are being made public for the first time. The following is an introduction to the key selections from Volume One of “Selected Works of Xi Jinping.”
