Strengthen the foundation of safety and quality, and firmly uphold responsibilities without any slackening—The Geophysical Exploration Institute conducts safety, technical, and quality inspections for field projects.

Recently, in order to earnestly implement the spirit of the Group’s First Party Congress and the relevant arrangements outlined in the Group’s “Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Construction of ‘Five First-Class’ Enterprises through the ‘Great Cycle, Great Campaign, Great Enhancement’ Initiative”—specifically those concerning strict adherence to the bottom line of safe production and rigorous control over technical quality—while fully implementing the requirements of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s “Three-Year Action Plan for Root-Cause Remediation of Safe Production (2024-2026),” and solidifying the defenses for safety and technical quality, the Equipment Safety Supervision Department and the Technical Quality Department of the Geophysical Exploration Institute have jointly formed an inspection team to conduct safety and technical-quality checks on several ongoing field projects at the Institute.

From October 19 to 22, the Joint Academic Annual Conference of China’s Earth Sciences, co-organized by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, was successfully held in Chengdu. As an influential academic exchange platform in China’s earth sciences field, this year’s conference brought together thousands of experts and scholars from universities, research institutes, and enterprises across the country, who engaged in in-depth discussions around core topics such as “Deep Earth Exploration and Resource Security.” Through a dual-track approach—featuring invited keynote speeches and showcases of research achievements—the Institute of Geophysical Exploration systematically presented breakthroughs in geological exploration technology and the practical application results in industry. Thanks to its solid technological foundation and proven track record, the Institute garnered widespread attention and recognition from the attending experts and scholars.

On October 21, Academician Sun Heping from the Institute of Precision Measurement Science and Technology Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences led his research team in a symposium with the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, jointly discussing directions for innovative development and exploring potential avenues for cooperation in the field of geophysical exploration. Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Sichuan Resources Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Year of Capability Enhancement | The Second Meeting of the First Members’ Assembly of the Sichuan Provincial Geophysical Society Was Held Successfully

On October 12, to advance the special campaign "Year of Capability Enhancement," the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, as a founding organization of the Sichuan Geophysical Society, successfully hosted the second meeting of the first membership congress of the Sichuan Geophysical Society in a hybrid “online + offline” format. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary-General of the Sichuan Geophysical Society, and attracted a total of 202 participants.
