Building Dreams in the New Era through Youth, and Striving Forward on a New Journey through Labor — Geophysical Exploration Institute Launches Youth Team-Building Activities
On the eve of the International Labor Day on May 1 and the Youth Day on April 29, in order to thoroughly promote the spirit of model workers and the spirit of labor, enrich the cultural and spiritual lives of employees, and further strengthen team cohesion and centripetal force, the Trade Union and the Communist Youth League Committee of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration jointly organized a team-building event themed “Building Dreams for a New Era with Youth, Striving Forward Through Labor.” On April 30, all staff members based in Chengdu gathered together, embracing the festive spirit with energetic enthusiasm and rallying their collective drive to forge ahead.
At the event site, all employees were full of energy, exuding a vibrant youthful spirit and a strong atmosphere of unity and progress. Under the orderly guidance of professional coaches, participants willingly broke down departmental barriers, set aside their work roles, quickly formed teams, and enthusiastically engaged in a variety of fun, collaborative activities. Throughout the event, team members worked in unison, pooling their efforts and sharing a common goal. Amidst laughter and spirited competition, they enhanced communication, forged greater team consensus, and fully demonstrated the Institute of Geophysical Exploration’s employees’ admirable qualities: unity and collaboration, a fearless spirit of striving, and an optimistic, upward-looking attitude.
During the event, Yu Changheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, on behalf of the Institute’s Party Committee, extended sincere holiday greetings and best wishes to all employees, expressing gratitude for their long-standing dedication and quiet contributions in their respective roles, which have been instrumental to the Institute’s development. In addition, the event honored the 2025 Model Workers of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, recognizing their hard work and outstanding achievements over the past year and encouraging all employees to take these role models as examples, learn from the advanced, strive to be among the best, stay committed to their duties, and boldly endeavor to excel.
This themed team-building event was not only a heartwarming gathering for relaxation and strengthened camaraderie, but also a spiritual renewal that forged unity and ignited determination. The activities allowed employees to unwind from work-related stress and cultivate their character in a natural setting, while further consolidating team synergy and kindling enthusiasm for work. All participants expressed their commitment to translating the spirit of collaboration and the drive to excel cultivated during the event into powerful motivation for fulfilling their duties and pursuing innovation and success. They pledged to approach their work with greater passion and a more pragmatic attitude, uniting as one to forge ahead with courage and dedication, thereby contributing their youthful energy and professional expertise to the high-quality development of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration.
