Geophysical Exploration Institute Conducts Special Inspection on Field Safety Production
Recently, in order to effectively strengthen the safety safeguards for field operations, Gu Zhiwen, a member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to the Dazhou Fracturing Monitoring Project site to conduct a special supervisory inspection on work safety. The Equipment Safety Supervision Department and relevant project officials participated in the inspection.
The inspection team conducted a comprehensive “health check” at the project construction site, focusing on four key areas: personnel management, equipment operation, oversight of outsourced work, and health protection. The team put forward three requirements for the current priority tasks: First, firmly establish principal responsibility by strengthening full-process supervision and management to ensure that safety management leaves no blind spots and that the chain of accountability remains unbroken. Second, strictly adhere to the bottom line of safe construction by coordinating production and safety efforts, rigorously implementing safety technical briefings and routine inspections, standardizing the use and maintenance of instruments and equipment, and ensuring adequate field protection to safeguard both personnel and equipment. Third, adopt a scientific approach to mosquito-bite prevention and control: immediately eliminate standing water breeding grounds in work areas and around accommodation sites; provide all personnel with sufficient mosquito-repellent supplies and ensure their proper use; reinforce personal hygiene and protective measures; effectively reduce the risk of mosquito bites; and thereby protect the health of frontline workers.
This inspection serves both as a comprehensive safety hazard assessment and as a thoughtful reminder to frontline workers. All project personnel promptly implemented the inspection team’s requirements and immediately addressed and rectified any issues identified. Everyone agreed to take this inspection as an opportunity to further elevate their political awareness, refine safety measures, strictly adhere to safety red lines, and make every effort to ensure the safe, efficient, and orderly execution of the project, thereby contributing to the company’s high-quality development. 。
