Recently, in order to earnestly implement the spirit of the Group’s First Party Congress and the relevant arrangements outlined in the Group’s “Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Construction of ‘Five First-Class’ Enterprises through the ‘Great Cycle, Great Campaign, Great Enhancement’ Initiative”—specifically those emphasizing strict adherence to the bottom line of safe production and rigorous control over technical quality—the Geophysical Exploration Institute has fully implemented the requirements of its “Three-Year Action Plan for Root-Cause Remediation of Safe Production (2024-2026).” To solidify the defenses against safety risks and ensure high technical quality, the Equipment Safety Supervision Department and the Technical Quality Department of the Geophysical Exploration Institute have jointly formed an inspection team to conduct safety and technical quality checks on several ongoing field projects within the Institute.

Currently, adverse weather conditions such as low winter temperatures, rain, snow, and dense fog are occurring frequently. Coupled with the intense pressure of year-end project deadlines and critical milestones, the situation for safe production is facing a severe test. The inspection team has gone deep into project sites to conduct on-site inspections of project progress, focusing particularly on key areas including the implementation of the project’s safety production responsibility system, on-site safety management, and technical quality control.

The inspection team requires all project managers to strictly adhere to the bottom lines and red lines for safe production, always putting safety first, rigorously implementing safety responsibilities, and ensuring that all safety measures are effectively put into practice. Focusing on fire prevention during winter, we must build a robust “firewall” for each project, strictly control sources of ignition, and firmly prohibit unauthorized outdoor fires. We will also intensify fire safety education and awareness campaigns for all members of the project teams, comprehensively enhancing fire prevention consciousness as well as self-rescue and mutual-rescue capabilities. We will closely monitor and control technical quality throughout the entire process; by standardizing management procedures and strengthening accountability, we will elevate our technical quality management to a new level, laying a solid foundation for sprinting through the fourth quarter and securing victory in achieving our annual goals and tasks.
