The Geophysical Exploration Institute went to the project frontline to carry out the “Party Building Leads, Safety Underpins” campaign.
In order to earnestly implement the spirit of the Group’s “Notice on Launching the ‘Party Building-led, Safety-Rooted’ Series of Activities” and the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s “Three-Year Action Plan for Addressing the Root Causes of Production Safety (2024-2026),” as well as to carry out the Group’s special action arrangements under the themes of “Three Shifts and Three Enhancements” and “Year of Capability Enhancement,” recently, Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to the Hongya 2D Seismic Exploration Project to launch the “Party Building-led, Safety-Rooted” activity.
The Party Branch of Seismic Exploration held a themed Party Day activity—“Party Building + Safety”—at the project headquarters. Participants collectively studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses and guiding instructions on work safety. Liu Jinhui, a member of the Institute’s Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, delivered a special Party lesson on the spirit of the Central Government’s Eight-Point Regulation and safety issues. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Institute’s Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union, presented Zhang Guangming, Project Manager of the Hongya Two-Dimensional Seismic Exploration Project, with the “Party Member Safety Vanguard Post” certificate.
The implementation of this initiative is a significant step taken by the Geophysical Exploration Institute, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It involves in-depth study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses and instructions on work safety, further strengthening the leading role of Party building, and firmly grasping and reinforcing all aspects of work safety management. In the coming period, the Geophysical Exploration Institute will continue to fulfill its responsibilities for work safety, enhance the safety awareness and capabilities of all staff members, and sustainably carry out a series of “Party Building + Safety” activities. This will help unleash the exemplary and leading role of grassroots Party organizations and Party members in work safety, thereby laying a solid safety foundation for the company’s high-quality development.
