The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a symposium and exchange with the Chengdu Geological Survey Center of the China Geological Survey (Southwest Geological Science and Technology Innovation Center).
On July 4, a delegation from the Office, the Exploration Technology Division, and the Environmental Resources Company of the Chengdu Geological Survey Center (Southwest Geological Science and Technology Innovation Center) of the China Geological Survey visited the Institute of Geophysical Exploration for a symposium and exchange. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, attended and chaired the symposium.
Both sides stated that they will closely align with the nation’s innovation-driven development strategy and the deployment of the new round of mineral exploration breakthrough initiatives, reaching a consensus on integrated cooperation encompassing “joint technological research, shared data resources, collaborative talent development, and coordinated market expansion.” They also agreed to establish a regularized cooperation mechanism and conduct periodic technical seminars and project matchmaking sessions.
This exchange has laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two sides. Moving forward, both parties will leverage their respective strengths and continue to make concerted efforts in areas such as technological innovation, project collaboration, and talent development. They aim to produce a batch of impactful scientific and technological achievements in the new round of strategic initiatives for breakthroughs in mineral exploration, thereby forging a new pattern of cooperative development and jointly promoting high-quality growth in the geological sector, thus injecting strong momentum into safeguarding the nation’s energy and resource security.
