The Geophysical Exploration Institute and the Survey & Design Group held an exchange and discussion meeting.
On June 17, Wang Wenbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Survey and Design Group, led a team to the Geophysical Exploration Institute for an exchange and discussion meeting. Yu Changheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, along with other members of the institute’s leadership team based in Chengdu, attended the meeting.
Wang Wenbin and his delegation first visited the Geophysical Innovation Studio of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, where they gained a detailed understanding of the institute’s major geophysical exploration methods developed in recent years in fields such as oil and gas and mineral resources, as well as the planning and construction of its industry-academia-research innovation platforms.
During the subsequent symposium, both sides engaged in discussions on business synergy, market expansion, and scientific research and innovation—focusing on the Group’s core businesses, pillar industries, and other key areas. They unanimously agreed that, in accordance with the Group’s unified deployment and taking advantage of the Group’s newly established Geophysical Innovation Center, they should actively collaborate to apply for research projects and seek recognition for research achievements, thereby enhancing the Group’s influence in related industries.
In the next phase of work, the Geophysical Exploration Institute and the Survey & Design Group will join forces, fully leveraging their respective technological and resource advantages to jointly create a new chapter of high-quality development for the Group.
