To further broaden our thinking and enhance the quality and effectiveness of supervision and disciplinary enforcement, on October 22, disciplinary inspection officials from the Geophysical Exploration Institute held a symposium with a delegation led by Niu Huimin, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Xingshu Design Group, who were visiting the institute, to discuss how to better carry out disciplinary inspection work. The symposium was chaired by Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.

At the meeting, Zou Zhongping provided a detailed introduction to the geophysical exploration institute’s supervision and disciplinary enforcement efforts over recent years. He highlighted the institute’s adoption of a “two forms and one document” management approach, which integrates project management, project funding, and the use of scientific research funds, thereby ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the entire process—before, during, and after project implementation. Niu Huimin focused on Xingshu Design Group’s innovative practices in leveraging information technology to enhance its supervisory work. She shared how the group uses digital tools to streamline workflow approvals and ongoing monitoring, making the supervisory process more efficient.

During this period, the two sides also exchanged views on how to carry out “differentiated” supervision, how to improve the integrity risk prevention and control system, and how to effectively leverage the specialized supervisory role of the discipline inspection authorities and the functional supervisory roles of relevant departments. They discussed ways to better address challenges in the project supervision process and bottlenecks in advancing work.

This exchange of work has achieved the goal of mutual learning and借鉴 among sister units, inspired new approaches to disciplinary inspection work, and broadened our methods of operation. Both sides expressed their commitment to taking the construction of “integrity cells” as a key driver, closely aligning with the goal of building clean state-owned enterprises, transforming the outcomes of this exchange and learning into tangible results in our daily work, and jointly promoting high-quality development of disciplinary inspection efforts.
