On the afternoon of January 4, 2022, the Geophysical Exploration Company held a special meeting to implement and carry out the spirit of the provincial Natural Resources Investment Group’s work promotion conference. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Company. The company’s leadership team in Chengdu, members of the Party Branch Committee, and heads of various departments attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the company, conveyed the spirit of the document issued by the Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group titled "Notice on Implementing the Spirit of the Work Promotion Meeting." Liu Jing, Deputy Director of the Office, read aloud the speech delivered by Chen Guilin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of the Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group, at the work promotion meeting.
Zhang Guangda stated that Chairman Chen’s speech is of great significance. It has helped us resolve our current uncertainties, pointed out the direction for future development, and bolstered our confidence and determination to ensure stable and positive progress following the reform and realignment. We must thoroughly implement the spirit of the meeting and translate it into concrete actions within our company’s daily work.
First, we must focus on strengthening coordination with the Group and familiarizing ourselves with its relevant systems and documents. Second, we need to thoroughly organize ongoing projects, including fracture monitoring and the Sichuan Highway Design Institute. Third, the Operations Audit Department should continue to implement the year-end collection efforts. Fourth, the Finance Department, together with other relevant departments, must carry out a comprehensive cleanup of receivables, payables, and assets, and be fully prepared at all times for inspections by the Group’s asset verification team and consulting firms—ensuring that we neither underreport, omit, nor overstate any information. Fifth, we should continue to submit applications for the research achievements resulting from our collaboration with Chengdu University of Technology, striving to win the first prize for provincial- or ministerial-level scientific research achievements this year. Sixth, the Technical Quality Department should systematically compile this year’s records of patent applications, software copyrights, and publications in core journals; meanwhile, the Party and Mass Work Department should organize and document the publication status of political research papers and economic research papers. Seventh, we must prioritize safe production at our projects and carry out heartfelt Spring Festival greetings and慰问 activities. Before the holiday, the company will organize a festive celebration to ensure everyone can joyfully welcome the Lunar New Year. Eighth, for projects contracted in 2021 that have achieved performance targets, we must distribute the corresponding rewards to every employee involved, following the “two forms and one document” guidelines. Ninth, we must continue to maintain rigorous epidemic prevention and control measures.
The classification reform of our province’s geological exploration units has now reached a conclusion. The newly established group company enjoys strong policy support as well as advantages in industrial development and resource allocation, and in the future it will become the leading enterprise in our province’s Natural Resources sector. Going forward, the geophysical exploration company will consider the group its home, strictly implement all work requirements set forth by the group’s Party and administrative bodies, seize development opportunities with determination, and become one family with all other units within the group—working with shared aspirations and united efforts—to contribute to the development of our province’s Natural Resources sector and the group’s high-quality growth.
