The Geophysical Exploration Institute of Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Held Its 2022 Work Conference.

On February 14, the Geophysical Exploration Institute of Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group held its 2022 work conference. Attending the meeting were 85 people, including Xu Xihui, a member of the Group's Party Committee and Deputy General Manager; He Qian Guang, Deputy Director of the Department of Operation and Management; members of the company's leadership team; senior managers; and employees based in Chengdu. The meeting was chaired by Yu Changheng, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the company.

At the meeting, Xu Xihui delivered a guiding speech. He expressed his appreciation for the achievements the Geophysical Exploration Institute has made in the past and, on behalf of the Group, put forward four key requirements for the Institute: First, while maintaining “stable growth,” the Institute should also “reach higher and aim for greater heights”; second, it should actively support and integrate into the Group’s new performance evaluation system; third, it should pay close attention to the modernization of the enterprise, especially by improving its modern enterprise management systems; and fourth, it must remain committed to building the Institute and its foundation on science and technology, seizing opportunities, and boldly taking the lead.

Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, delivered a work report titled "Striving Vigorously, Integrating into the Natural Resources Investment Group, Jointly Moving Toward the Future, and Sustaining High-Quality Development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute." In the report, he systematically summarized the Institute's key achievements during the 13th Five-Year Plan period and in 2021, conducted an in-depth analysis of the major existing problems as well as the current situation and opportunities, and proposed the main objectives and key initiatives for 2022: First, proactively integrate into the Natural Resources Group and fully implement the Group’s regulations; second, continue to excel in business operations by leveraging core technologies; third, strictly enforce the Group’s rules and pay close attention to safety management; fourth, rigorously adhere to the Group’s requirements and effectively carry out scientific and technological quality management; fifth, continue to refine project management; sixth, constantly upgrade equipment and software to seize the high-end market for true 3D electromagnetic surveys; seventh, use high-quality Party building to drive high-quality development; and eighth, strengthen corporate culture and brand-building efforts.

Subsequently, Gu Zhiwen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the company, delivered a summary report on technical quality and scientific & technological work for 2021, along with plans for 2022; and also presented a summary report on safe production for 2021, along with plans for 2022.

During the group discussion on the 2022 work report of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, all staff members individually put forward their views and suggestions regarding the new situation and new stage.

Zhang Guangda signed responsibility letters with various entities, outlining operational performance targets, safety production targets, and quality management targets.

The meeting commended the advanced collectives, outstanding project teams, advanced production workers, and individuals who have made remarkable contributions to safe production for the year 2021. We hope everyone will continue their efforts and achieve even greater success in the new year.

Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Company, delivered a summary report on the trade union’s work for 2021. He stated that in 2021, the company’s trade union wholeheartedly took serving employees as its guiding principle and carried out numerous initiatives, achieving many notable accomplishments. First, membership management was further strengthened; second, employees’ political and ideological awareness was further enhanced; third, healthy cultural and sports activities were further enriched; fourth, trade union financial management was further improved; fifth, the trade union’s support for epidemic prevention and control was further reinforced; and sixth, participation in the “Ankang Cup” competition was further expanded.

Finally, Zou Zhongping delivered a summary of the work conference titled “Striving with Vigor and Actively Integrating—Promoting the Implementation of the Spirit of the 2022 Work Conference of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.” In his summary, he emphasized the following five key areas: First, we must genuinely strengthen our sense of responsibility, mission, and urgency in advancing our cause; second, we must consolidate and enhance our core businesses and drive our development to a higher level; third, we must focus on comprehensive and efficient management to elevate our management practices; fourth, we must prioritize Party building and team development to raise the overall quality of our workforce; and fifth, we must ensure the thorough implementation of the spirit of the conference.
