Building a robust system drives development; strengthening management injects new momentum—The Geophysical Exploration Institute successfully completed the supervision and audit of the “Three Systems.”
To ensure the robust operation of the organization’s quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration conducted its annual three-system supervisory audit from July 4 to 5, 2022. This audit was carried out by five experts appointed by Huajian International Certification Company. Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Institute of Geophysical Exploration, along with Gu Zhiwen, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer, attached great importance to the audit and attended the meeting. Heads of various departments actively cooperated and participated in this supervisory audit.
During the two-day audit, the auditing experts conducted a meticulous and rigorous on-site review of the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems. This was done by examining records of project implementation at the site, verifying project documentation, and communicating with relevant leaders of the Institute to gain an understanding of how the management and various departments are operating under the three integrated systems.
At the closing meeting held on the afternoon of July 5, Liao Shuangfeng, head of the audit team, provided a brief summary of the audit findings. The audit team’s experts gave high praise to the operation of the exploration institute’s management system, noting that the institute’s management strategies and policies had been effectively implemented, the operational processes for its overall business were highly standardized, and the management system was functioning efficiently. At the same time, the experts also offered valuable suggestions regarding the issues identified during the audit and proposed directions for future improvements.
Finally, following a comprehensive evaluation by the audit team, the geophysical exploration institute’s quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management system passed the on-site audit.
