Category:

Immediately after the outbreak of this round of the epidemic, the Geophysical Exploration Institute activated its emergency response plan. Under the leadership of the Sichuan Resources Party Committee, it rigorously implemented all epidemic prevention and control measures, adopted multiple coordinated strategies to ensure stable operation of production and business, and simultaneously focused on both epidemic prevention and control and production operations—without compromising either. We are firmly committed to winning the tough battle of ensuring safe production and effective epidemic control.

Online communication—work continues from home.

During the pandemic, employees of the Geophysical Exploration Institute who were working from home made full use of various communication tools—including video conferences, WeChat groups, emails, and phone calls—to dynamically report their daily health status, hold work meetings, implement work assignments, conduct internal reviews, and strengthen communication and coordination with clients. In doing so, they made every effort to ensure that critical tasks were advanced on schedule, effectively balancing epidemic prevention with production.

On-site project—production never stops.

All projects of the Geophysical Exploration Institute strictly comply with local epidemic prevention policies to ensure that ongoing projects remain safe and under control.

On August 29, at the request of Party A, the Geophysical Exploration Institute dispatched logging personnel to Jinggu Autonomous County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, to carry out logging operations on the JG-2 potash well in the Jinggu Depression. As of September 6, the logging team had successfully completed comprehensive logging and cementing quality inspection logging for the second and third open-hole sections of the well. During the project, the project team actively responded to epidemic prevention and control requirements, consistently conducting nucleic acid tests and taking personal protective measures. They strictly adhered to local epidemic prevention regulations, cooperated with local inspections, proactively scanned venue codes, provided travel history records, and maintained thorough registration.

At the Ning 209H9 platform located in Jiusi Town, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, the fracturing electromagnetic monitoring technology service project undertaken by the Geophysical Exploration Institute has been successfully completed. Following the institute’s requirements, the project team has normalized epidemic prevention measures and ensured that all necessary防疫 supplies are fully stocked. They are actively cooperating with local epidemic control efforts and diligently carrying out nucleic acid testing.

At the fracturing electromagnetic monitoring project headquarters for Well Zu 206H1-4, located in Jinshan Town, Dazu District, Chongqing Municipality, project personnel have been complying with local epidemic prevention requirements. After undergoing three tests over three consecutive days and completing a 7-day home isolation period, they have successfully resumed project activities. Currently, the project continues to conduct daily testing and actively implements all epidemic prevention measures.

The geophysical exploration survey project for the Yizhou-Donglan Section 7 of the highway in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Longsheng-Dongzhong Port Highway (Yizhou to Shanglin section) is underway. In accordance with the institute’s epidemic prevention and control requirements, the project team promptly arranged nucleic acid testing and other necessary measures for all team members, ensuring that preventive measures were implemented proactively. Meanwhile, the Yizhou-Donglan Section 7 highway exploration project has so far completed 14.4 km of high-density electrical resistivity surveys and 34 physical points for audio-frequency magnetotelluric surveys. The Longsheng-Dongzhong Port Highway (Yizhou to Shanglin section) geophysical exploration survey project has currently completed 11.29 km of high-density electrical resistivity surveys, 152 physical points for audio-frequency magnetotelluric surveys, and 6 borehole shear-wave velocity tests. Both project teams are steadily advancing production activities and promptly providing the client with first-hand technical data.

As this wave of the epidemic strikes, employees of Sichuan Resources and Geophysical Exploration have actively responded to the call, shouldered their responsibilities, and remained steadfastly at their posts, ensuring the smooth and stable operation of the institute’s production. In the upcoming epidemic prevention and control efforts, all employees will continue to work together in solidarity, overcome these difficult times hand in hand, and rigorously implement the work arrangements set forth by Sichuan Resources and the Institute of Geophysical Exploration. We will continue to vigorously promote the spirit of fighting the epidemic, do our utmost to ensure safe, stable, and orderly production, and secure a decisive victory in the battle against the epidemic!
