From September 16 to September 18, the Sichuan Office of the Chinese Geophysical Society, the awarding and unveiling ceremony for pilot units promoting scientific and technological advancements of the Chinese Geophysical Society, and a seminar on the application of geophysical technologies were held in Chengdu. The conference was co-organized by the Chinese Geophysical Society, Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Chengdu University of Technology. Di Qingyun, President of the Chinese Geophysical Society and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lin Jun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, attended the awarding ceremony. Guo Jian, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Chinese Geophysical Society, Jiang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group, Xu Qiang, Vice President of Chengdu University of Technology, and Wang Xuben, Professor at Chengdu University of Technology, also attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
