Anchor on Goals and Ensure Implementation—Innovate for Development and Strive to Be a Pioneer: The Geophysical Exploration Institute Implements the Requirements of the Group’s Research Team.
On September 23, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held a meeting to implement the work instructions and deployment guidelines issued by the Group’s research team, thereby putting into practice the spirit of the series of instructions delivered at the Group’s senior leaders’ inspection visit to the Institute of Geophysical Exploration and the subsequent centralized research symposium and exchange meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch and Chairman of the Board, and attended by members of the Institute’s leadership team as well as heads of various departments.

At the meeting, clear responsibilities and accountable departments were designated for the issues raised by the research team, including “building and effectively utilizing academic platforms to secure more high-quality resources,” “expanding recruitment channels to attract talent from both home and abroad,” “increasing investment in scientific research to boost innovation-driven momentum,” and “leveraging core technologies to expand application markets.” This was done to ensure that the work could be carried out promptly. Meanwhile, the meeting also conducted an in-depth study of the seven recommendations put forward by the research team during the centralized symposium and exchange session—namely, “intensifying efforts to secure support from higher authorities and carefully preparing science and technology innovation projects to gain departmental backing,” “strengthening the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements to enhance efficiency,” and “fully implementing the ‘Integrity Cells’ initiative to proactively prevent integrity risks.” These recommendations were further refined and broken down into specific responsibilities tailored to the actual conditions of our unit, ensuring that all tasks are effectively implemented and put into practice.
Meeting Requirements
We must go all out and adopt multiple measures to ensure robust production and operations. We should break down the project collection targets into detailed, specific tasks to guarantee the successful completion of our annual objectives. We need to strengthen coordination and communication with relevant parties within the society, striving to elevate the platform development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute to a new level. In line with the unit’s development plan, we should proactively enhance efforts to attract high-level talent. We should actively collaborate with relevant institutions in regions such as Shanghai and Shenzhen, promptly establish a research and development team for geophysical exploration equipment, increase investment in scientific research, and boost our capacity for independent equipment development. Based on the unit’s actual situation, we should further expand our business areas. Moreover, we must continue to implement the special campaign “Three Transformations and Three Enhancements” and the “Integrity Cell” initiative more effectively, ensuring that our work is more closely aligned with practical needs and fully highlights the unique strengths and advantages of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
The meeting emphasized.
All staff members of the Geophysical Exploration Institute must thoroughly implement the requirements set forth in the Group’s research team’s speech, firmly focus on achieving the annual goals, concentrate on our core responsibilities and main business, and bravely forge ahead on the path of innovative development. We must take technological innovation as the core driving force, using production and operations, cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, as well as the requirements put forward by the Group’s research team, as powerful levers. We must rigorously uphold quality, safety, and integrity standards, make every effort to ensure effective implementation of tasks, and promote the steady, healthy, and high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
