On December 5, the wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring project for another deep shale gas well in the western Chongqing block, undertaken by the Geophysical Exploration Institute, successfully passed acceptance testing.
At the acceptance meeting, the project leader innovatively presented the monitoring highlights and challenges encountered during the well fracturing process, using precise and clear data charts as well as detailed and intuitive visualizations of the fracturing evolution. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of the field operation methods, data interpretation, post-fracturing evaluation and analysis, and insightful recommendations.

During the implementation of the project, the Geophysical Exploration Institute has consistently upheld the core principles of the exploration industry—scientific rigor and relentless pursuit of excellence. It has conducted in-depth studies of geological structures, precisely pinpointed drilling locations, and ensured that every step of the operation complies with industry norms and standards. However, adhering to these principles does not mean sticking rigidly to established practices. Building on its advanced wide-area electromagnetic exploration technology, the Institute has also actively introduced new technologies and methods such as data visualization, real-time monitoring, and dynamic adjustments, providing clients with customized monitoring solutions and injecting fresh vitality into the project.

Meanwhile, during the demonstration and briefing phase of the acceptance process, the Geophysical Exploration Institute adopted a brand-new multimedia interactive format to present the complex exploration processes and drilling data in an intuitive and vivid manner. Additionally, through in-depth data analysis, the institute provided the acceptance experts and the client with a detailed and accurate assessment report.

The acceptance expert panel highly praised the Institute of Geophysical Exploration’s professional strength and achievements, noting that, building on its existing technologies, the institute has achieved even deeper advancements, attaining a highly comprehensive and concise understanding of oil and gas well conditions. At the conclusion of the acceptance meeting, the expert panel delivered their first “satisfactory” assessment of the fracture monitoring project over the past half year and unanimously approved it with applause.
Those who understand the constant and adapt to change will prevail; those who uphold integrity while fostering innovation will advance. Guided by the special campaign "Three Transformations and Three Enhancements," the Geophysical Exploration Institute takes the needs of its clients as its compass, innovating on the foundation of upholding integrity and infusing vitality into that very integrity through innovation. On the path ahead, the Institute will continue to embrace the philosophy of "upholding integrity and fostering innovation," further strengthening communication and collaboration with its clients. Committed to relentlessly exploring new exploration technologies and methods, it will courageously serve as a inheritor, pioneer, and practitioner—working together to promote the rational development and efficient utilization of shale gas resources and making greater contributions to the nation's energy endeavors and sustainable development.
