The geophysical exploration institute’s project on wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring for the first coalbed methane well of Changyuan Company has successfully passed the acceptance inspection.
On December 11, the wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring project for the first coalbed methane well undertaken by the Institute of Geophysical Exploration for Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. successfully passed acceptance testing. This not only affirms the scientific research capabilities and technical cooperation between the two parties but also signifies the smooth integration of their efforts in technological R&D and application.
At the acceptance meeting, the wide-area electromagnetic fracturing team from the Geophysical Exploration Institute provided a detailed introduction to the key application areas of this technology in fracture monitoring, such as precise fracture location and real-time monitoring of fracturing effects. The client and the acceptance expert panel highly praised and fully endorsed the monitoring results presented by the Geophysical Exploration Institute, unanimously agreeing that this technology offers new approaches and technical support for fracture monitoring in coalbed methane wells.
The successful implementation of this project has not only provided substantial support for the production operations of Changqing Petroleum Group but has also laid a solid foundation for further promotion and application of the geophysical exploration institute’s wide-area electromagnetic fracturing monitoring technology—first within Changqing Company itself and then in broader markets. This bodes well for the continued expansion of the geophysical exploration institute’s wide-area electromagnetic business and holds limitless potential for its future development.
