Bringing Study and Education to the Front Lines: Combining Integrity with Security for Well-being

During the height of summer, in order to further strengthen safety production efforts for the summer season, from July 24 to 26, Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, led a team to visit the hydrogeological survey project in the Changning block of southern Sichuan, as well as the monitoring sites for fracturing operations at Well Ning209H64-6 and Platform Ning209H52. They carried out the “Trade Union Delivers Coolness—Preventing Heatstroke and Ensuring Health” campaign. Staff members from the Institute’s Discipline Inspection Office, Business Department, and Equipment Safety Supervision Department accompanied the team on this visit.
At the project site, Zou Zhongping and his delegation thoroughly reviewed the progress of various project tasks, with particular emphasis on the implementation of safe production, standardized management, and integrity in professional conduct. They had heart-to-heart talks with project leaders and some frontline employees, reminding everyone to adhere to bottom-line thinking and maintain a strong awareness of red lines in their work. As we are currently in the flood season, there must be absolutely no slackening in safety measures for field operations. It is crucial to tailor safety inspections to local conditions and construction characteristics, strengthen the identification of potential hazards, and ensure that the working environment remains safe and under control.
At the project department’s symposium, Zou Zhongping briefed the participants on the progress of various tasks carried out by the Geophysical Exploration Institute in the first half of the year. Drawing on the actual conditions of the unit, he explained to frontline staff the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, as well as the spirit of the Fourth and Fifth Plenary Sessions of the 12th Provincial Party Committee. He also conveyed the latest key work requirements, including Party discipline study and education, the special campaign “Three Transformations and Three Enhancements,” the “Integrity Cells” initiative, and the action to enhance the standardization and regularization of Party building.
During this period, Zou Zhongping, representing the Party branch and the trade union of the institute, delivered heat-prevention and cooling supplies, refreshing beverages, and fruits to each project team. He also reminded everyone to pay attention to their own health and safety, take proper precautions against flooding risks and high temperatures, and maintain good physical condition to ensure high-quality work performance.
Coolness in the heart, integrity in action. This event has brought refreshment to those on the front lines and extended heartfelt care to their hearts. While fully inspiring the work enthusiasm of frontline employees, it has also extended education and reminders on ethical conduct to the project sites, jointly building a strong defense for safe production and high-quality development at the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
