The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the fourth (expanded) study session of the Party Branch Theoretical Study Center Group for 2024.
On July 31, the Geophysical Exploration Institute held the fourth (expanded) study session of the Party Branch Theoretical Study Center for 2024. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Institute’s Party Branch, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager. Members of the Institute’s Party Branch Theoretical Study Center, senior managers, and heads of departments attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on studying key documents including the Communiqué of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Deepening Comprehensive Reform and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization," the "Notice on Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Important Speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Carrying Out Party Discipline Study and Education with Sustained Effort," the "Notice on Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Important Speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Taking Party Discipline Study and Education to a Deeper Level," and excerpts from "Xi Jinping’s Statements on Strengthening Party Discipline Building in an All-round Manner," as well as selected chapters from the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China." Members of the central study group exchanged views around the theme of "Promoting Chinese-style Modernization through Deepening Party Discipline Study and Education and Achieving High-quality Development."
The meeting pointed out that
In-depth study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party represent a major political task for the present and the period ahead. We must continue to focus on translating the spirit of the Plenary Session into concrete actions, consciously integrating it into the vibrant practice of further deepening reform in an all-round way, and serving as active implementers, promoters, and doers of reform.
Meeting Requirements
We must unswervingly strengthen political development. We must always uphold the Party’s leadership and reinforce Party building, making every effort to deepen and implement the initiative to standardize and normalize Party building, and using high-quality Party building to guide and ensure high-quality development.
We must firmly shoulder the responsibility for building a clean and honest Party style. We must always uphold a strict tone, earnestly implement the “Clean Cell” initiative, and effectively leverage the outcomes of Party discipline study and education. By fostering integrity within these “cells,” we can promote the overall health of our organization and provide strong guarantees for the high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
We must unswervingly focus on high-quality development. We should deepen the special campaign of “Three Transformations and Three Enhancements,” earnestly implement the requirements for high-quality development, fully leverage our advantages in scientific and technological innovation, and ensure that new-quality productive forces become a powerful driving force behind the Institute of Geophysical Exploration’s high-quality development.
