Teacher’s Day | Come and listen to their heartfelt words about teachers
In learning any skill, there is always a teacher.
Mentorship: Passing on the flame.
When “Mentorship” Meets Teacher’s Day
Let’s open the letter.
Let’s listen together to the heartfelt confessions of the apprentices!
01
Teacher: Zou Zhongping
Disciple: Liu Yuzi
On this special day, I’d like to extend my sincerest wishes to my beloved teacher: May you have a joyful holiday, smooth sailing in your work, and constant happiness!
Looking back on the past, when I first entered the workforce, it was you—through your unparalleled patience and wisdom—who guided me step by step as I grew. I remember our very first time working side by side: faced with intricate and complicated issues, you always managed to tackle them with a calm mind and composed demeanor, serving as a beacon that lit my way. During those days filled with challenges, you not only taught me how to stay calm and think clearly in complex situations, and to deeply analyze the root causes of problems, but also showed me how to collaborate effectively within a team and maintain sharp judgment even under pressure. All of this has gradually helped me develop into a highly skilled professional—a person who excels both in “writing” and in “martial arts.”
As the ancient saying goes, “A teacher is like a beam of light—small yet capable of illuminating the distant horizon.” Your earnest teachings are like scattered starlight, lighting up my path forward and guiding me toward a brighter future.
Teacher: Gu Zhiwen
Disciple: Liu Cheng
Time flies— it’s been a year since I joined the team. I remember when I first arrived, my mentor asked me, “Liu Cheng, would you like to join our fracture monitoring team? We’ve been incredibly busy these past few years, and we’ll probably be working in the field for long stretches. Can you handle it?” I replied, “I can.” And just like that, I embarked on a journey working alongside my mentor on fracture monitoring projects.
The teacher not only guided me in writing my paper, applying for patents, and registering software copyrights, but also provided timely advice and encouragement. With the teacher’s help, I’ve grown rapidly and now have a solid grasp of all aspects of fracture monitoring projects.
Here, I sincerely thank my teacher for the care, support, and guidance you’ve given me over the past year. I’m grateful for your thoughtful mentorship and selfless assistance, which have enabled me to make remarkable progress in my field.
Teacher: Zhou Huiying
Disciple: Wen Han
How fortunate I am to have encountered such a wonderful teacher! If I were to describe my teacher in one sentence, it would be: “Content yet ambitious, gentle yet firm.”
I first met Sister Zhou in the summer of 2019, and now, five years have already passed in the blink of an eye. After five years of being together day and night, Sister Zhou has long since become not only my mentor and my elder sister but also my best friend.
My dullness and shallowness have never been reproached by Sister Zhou. Whenever I raised a question or expressed confusion, she would patiently and gently guide me, helping me unravel the underlying logic of the issue and providing detailed, precise explanations—truly embodying the principle that “it’s better to teach someone how to fish than to give them a fish.” She has led me step by step toward growth. When I’m joyful, she offers her heartfelt congratulations; when I’m downcast, she gives me encouragement—just like her profile picture: a towering tree that fills me with a deep sense of security and belonging.
In this fast-paced, hectic world, she always seems to move at a leisurely, steady pace. She once said, “It’s enough for a lifetime to wholeheartedly dedicate oneself to doing just one thing well.” In her, I’ve seen the embodiment of professional dedication—the pursuit of mastering one profession and sticking with it for a lifetime.
A teacher is like a beam of light—small yet capable of reaching far. By chasing after the light, we’ll find it; bathed in its glow, we’ll move forward with confidence. I sincerely thank Sister Zhou for her unwavering support and help over the years. I hope she’ll always be joyful, healthy, and enjoy continued success in her work.
Teacher: Zhang Guangming
Disciple: Zhang Zhengpeng

It’s been one year and two months since I joined the company. When I first started in the department, I felt a bit awkward and kept calling you “Minister.” Then you smiled and said, “From now on, just call me ‘Brother Guangming’—we’re all working together anyway.” That simple remark instantly brought us closer.
After the “Mentor-Apprentice” program was launched, my mentor provided guidance to me in three key areas: technical skills, management capabilities, and interpersonal skills, enabling me to gain valuable insights. First, production is built on a foundation of technical feasibility; only with solid technical skills can we move forward smoothly and successfully. Second, to enhance our management skills, we must first develop strong self-management abilities. We need to set clear personal development goals, hold ourselves to high standards, and never let our guard down. In addition, we also need to cultivate external management skills—such as communication and coordination, project planning, stress management, and the ability to demonstrate personal charisma. To do this effectively, we should be eager to learn and ask questions during project practice, continuously accumulating valuable project experience. Third, in terms of interpersonal skills, we must know ourselves, understand our own strengths and limitations, and learn how to communicate effectively and actively integrate into the team.
These are all invaluable experiences that I couldn’t have learned at school. I’m deeply grateful for the teachers’ patient guidance and heartfelt care, which have enabled me to continuously learn from them in terms of technology, management, and interpersonal skills. By humbly seeking their advice, I’ve been given the opportunity to grow rapidly and become a well-rounded, capable professional at the company even faster and more effectively.
A teacher’s role is to impart principles, pass on skills, and resolve doubts.
They are the “top performers” in their respective business areas.
It is even more the “guide” who helps apprentices grow and succeed.
Once bathed in the rain of apricot blossoms, I’ll cherish my teacher’s kindness for a lifetime.
Wishing all teachers:
Happy Teacher's Day!
