Strengthen awareness of rules and strictly adhere to disciplinary底线—The Geophysical Exploration Institute organizes study sessions on the newly revised "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China."
To continuously deepen education on Party discipline and rules, further advance the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, and urge and guide all Party members and cadres to learn about, understand, clearly recognize, and abide by Party discipline, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration recently organized a study session on the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China." All Party members and cadres stationed in Chengdu participated in the study.
Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, Member of the Discipline Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, elaborated on the significance of studying and implementing the Regulations. He also provided a detailed explanation of the background behind the revision of the Regulations as well as the newly added or revised provisions.
The meeting emphasized the following points: First, we must elevate our political awareness and deepen our ideological understanding. We should regard studying and implementing the Regulations as a major political task, profoundly recognizing that strengthening disciplinary construction is the fundamental solution for comprehensively and strictly governing the Party, and pay close attention to consolidating the foundation and nurturing integrity from the standpoint of ideology. Second, we must thoroughly grasp the essence of the Regulations and enhance our ability to think, reflect, practice, and comprehend them. Party members and cadres should engage in in-depth study through various methods such as branch-level study sessions, group discussions, and individual self-study, ensuring that discipline and rules are firmly embedded in their minds, hearts, and actions. Combining this with the actual work of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, we must strive to achieve deep understanding, thorough comprehension, and seamless integration, continuously enhancing our capacity to resist corruption and prevent degeneration. Third, we must enforce the Regulations rigorously and realistically, building an unshakable barrier of integrity. The Discipline Inspection Office must, in strict accordance with the requirements of higher authorities, develop detailed study plans, supervise branch-level study activities, and effectively integrate the implementation of the Regulations into daily work. We must remain steadfast in upholding the “strict” principle, keep the string of discipline and rules taut, engrave Party discipline deeply in our hearts, and put it into concrete action.
As a state-owned enterprise, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration will continue to strengthen the study, publicity, and implementation of the "Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China." Party members and cadres must firmly uphold the Party’s discipline and rules, genuinely internalize the outcomes of this study into their hearts and translate them into concrete actions, thereby providing solid support for the Institute’s high-quality development.
