On February 10, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its 2026 Work Conference. He Sibin, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the Group, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Institute of Geophysical Exploration Yu Changheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, delivered a work report. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, presided over the meeting.
The meeting was guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the successive plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, the Central Economic Work Conference, and the 8th Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Party Committee. It also thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Group’s 2026 Work Conference, comprehensively summarized the company’s work in 2025, and systematically laid out key tasks for 2026.

He Sibin fully affirmed the solid achievements made by the Geophysical Exploration Institute in 2025 in areas such as business development, market expansion, technological innovation, team building, and Party building leadership. He emphasized the need to resolutely implement the Group’s work plan for 2026, stay firmly anchored to our strategic goals, serve the overall development agenda, forge core competitiveness through innovation-driven approaches, expand markets and open up new frontiers by improving quality and boosting efficiency, and comprehensively promote high-quality, sustainable development across all undertakings through Party building leadership, talent attraction and development, safety assurance, and integrity-building efforts.

Yu Changheng, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, delivered the institute’s work report for 2026, calling on all cadres and employees to unite their hearts and minds, roll up their sleeves and get down to business, and adopt a vigorous spirit characterized by “large-scale circulation, large-scale campaigns, and significant improvements” as they strive with determination toward the goal of becoming “a national benchmark in the geophysical exploration industry and a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative ‘little giant’ enterprise,” thereby injecting geophysical exploration expertise into the Group’s efforts to build itself into a first-class, resource-based, strategic, and large-scale state-owned enterprise.
The report emphasizes the following six key points: First, deepen market penetration and expand our footprint to build a solid foundation for development; second, leverage technology to strengthen our core capabilities and unleash new momentum for innovation; third, attract and cultivate talent to enhance quality and build a strong, capable workforce; fourth, adopt refined management practices to improve efficiency and lay a robust operational foundation; fifth, strictly uphold bottom lines to ensure safety and establish a stable foundation for growth; and sixth, let Party building lead and unite forces to harness positive energy for development.

Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, reported on the income and expenditure of the institute’s trade union funds. Gu Zhiwen, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer; Liu Jinhui, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager; and Wang Kunpeng, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, made arrangements and deployments for work related to their respective areas of responsibility for 2026.







Company leaders, all entities, and management departments have claimed their 2026 annual target task assignments.

Zou Zhongping delivered a concluding speech at the meeting, emphasizing the need to strengthen accountability and take concrete actions to ensure effective implementation of tasks; to bolster scientific and technological innovation and enhance core competencies; to reinforce system building and improve management capabilities; to fortify team development and elevate overall competence; and to emphasize practical, hands-on work and enhance execution capabilities.
This meeting further unified thinking, clarified the direction, and rallied collective strength, providing a solid guarantee for the Geophysical Exploration Institute to chart a new course, open up new prospects, and take new steps on its new journey starting in 2026. All cadres and employees of the company will, with even greater enthusiasm, a more vigorous fighting spirit, and a more pragmatic work style, make new and greater contributions to the Group’s efforts to build itself into a first-class, resource-based, strategic, large-scale state-owned enterprise.
