Carrying Forward the Spirit of the War of Resistance and Strengthening the Power for National Rejuvenation—The Party Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute and the Sichuan Oil & Gas Party Branch Jointly Held a Thematic Party Day Activity

To deeply promote the great spirit of patriotism and the spirit of the War of Resistance, and to guide all cadres and employees to remember history, honor the martyrs, cherish peace, and forge a brighter future, on the morning of September 28, the Party Committee of the Geophysical Exploration Institute, in collaboration with the Sichuan Oil & Gas Party Branch, jointly organized a themed Party Day activity titled “Promoting the Spirit of the War of Resistance and Strengthening the Power for National Rejuvenation.” The event brought cadres and employees to the Sichuan Aviation Science and Technology Museum, where they drew inspiration and motivation from the allure of aviation technology and the profound weight of history.
On the day of the event, cadres and employees arrived at the Sichuan Aviation Science and Technology Museum with feelings of reverence and anticipation. Stepping inside, they felt as if they had entered a wondrous sanctuary of the aviation world.

Led by the docent, everyone first visited the outdoor equipment exhibition area. There, towering retired aircraft, precious vintage photographs, and aviation artifacts bearing the marks of time vividly recreated the development journey of China’s aviation industry—from its inception to its rise from weakness to strength. This experience deeply moved everyone, allowing them to profoundly appreciate the spirit of the aviation pioneers who, during times of national crisis, fearlessly braved hardships and fought bravely for national sovereignty and ethnic dignity. In particular, the stories of aviation warriors who, during the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, piloted fighter jets in fierce battles against the enemy, as well as those of test pilots in peacetime who, in their relentless pursuit of new aircraft performance, put their own safety aside—even at the cost of their lives—touched every comrade present deeply and enabled them to gain a deeper understanding of the rich significance of the spirit of the War of Resistance.

Next, everyone headed to the indoor aerospace technology exhibition area. Here, a variety of advanced aircraft models, aviation engines, avionics systems, and more were on display. Through a combination of real-world exhibits and immersive simulation experiences, the exhibition provided a comprehensive overview of the rapid advancements in modern aerospace technology.

In the simulated cockpit experience zone, many cadres and employees personally took the helm, savoring the thrill and challenges of piloting an aircraft soaring through the blue sky and gaining a firsthand appreciation for the rigor and sophistication of aviation technology. Everyone expressed that the advancement of aviation technology is a vital reflection of our nation’s overall strength. From the arduous quest during the War of Resistance to today’s technological leap forward, it has been made possible only by the relentless efforts of generation after generation. This serves as an inspiration for us to boldly innovate and overcome difficulties in our respective work positions.

This thematic Party Day activity organically combines historical education with technological experience. It enabled cadres and employees not only to revisit the magnificent history of the War of Resistance and deeply appreciate the great spirit of the War of Resistance, but also to fully appreciate the charm of aerospace technology, thereby igniting patriotic enthusiasm and a spirit of innovation. Participants unanimously agreed that this activity was both rich in content and profoundly meaningful. Moving forward, they pledged to carry forward the spirit of the War of Resistance and inherit the red gene with even greater vigor and unwavering confidence, transforming the spiritual strength gained from this activity into concrete actions and striving diligently to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the company’s high-quality development.

After the tour, staff and workers from both sides jointly participated in a fun sports meet for employees celebrating National Day 2025. Everyone threw themselves into the activities with great enthusiasm, showcasing a vibrant and upward-looking spirit amid laughter, joy, and collaborative efforts. This event not only enriched the cultural lives of employees and strengthened team cohesion but also infused patriotic sentiments into the joyful atmosphere. With a united and determined attitude, everyone paid tribute to the motherland on the occasion of its birthday, transforming the passion and energy gained during the event into concrete actions of dedication to their work and devotion to the nation, thus contributing their youth and responsibility to the prosperity and flourishing of our country.
