The Institute of Geophysical Exploration held the 2024 Meeting on Party Building, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Work.
On March 15, the Institute of Geophysical Exploration held its 2024 Party Building and Integrity & Anti-Corruption Work Conference. A total of 30 participants attended the meeting, including members of the institute’s leadership team, members of the Party branch committees, senior managers, mid-level cadres, and Party members based in Chengdu.
The meeting collectively studied the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the National Conference on Party Building in State-Owned Enterprises and at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Third Plenary Session of the 12th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection of Sichuan Province. The meeting also conveyed and studied the spirit of the Group’s 2024 Conference on Party Building, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Work.
At the meeting, Zhang Guangda, Secretary of the Party Branch Committee of the Institute, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager, delivered a 2024 Party building work report titled “Unite Hearts and Pool Strength to Shoulder Our Mission, Pursue Practical Implementation and Write a New Chapter, and Strive to Make Geophysical Exploration Contributions to the Group’s High-Quality Development.” The report summarized and laid out plans for the Party building work across the entire institute. Zou Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Committee, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Chairman of the Trade Union, summarized and arranged the work on Party conduct and integrity building as well as anti-corruption efforts throughout the institute. He also provided an interpretation of the Group’s implementation plan for the “Integrity Cell” initiative and made arrangements and deployments for the Geophysical Exploration Institute’s implementation of the “Integrity Cell” project.
The meeting emphasized:
First, we must follow the Party-building approach advocated by the Group—adhering to “one core principle,” firmly grasping the “three key areas of leadership,” and promoting the “five special initiatives”—and with a strong sense of responsibility, effectively carry out Party building work at the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
Second, we must strengthen grassroots Party organizations, continue to establish Party branches within project teams, emphasize practical work effectiveness, promote the standardization of Party organization platforms, and make every effort to ensure that key Party-building tasks are effectively implemented and put into practice.
Third, we must fully implement the “Integrity Cell” initiative, firmly assign and enforce responsibilities, strengthen supervision and disciplinary enforcement, and continuously foster a sound political environment characterized by integrity and honesty.
Fourth, we must further strengthen ideological work, corporate culture development, and publicity efforts to rally collective momentum and provide strong political guarantees for the high-quality development of the Geophysical Exploration Institute.
