Strengthen Spring Inspections to Solidify the Safety Defense—Geophysical Exploration Institute Launches a Comprehensive Spring Safety Inspection.
Recently, in order to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety and effectively carry out spring safety production at the Geophysical Exploration Institute, and to proactively prevent all kinds of work safety accidents, the Equipment Safety Supervision Department of the Geophysical Exploration Institute organized an inspection team to conduct spring safety inspections at various field project offices.
On March 27, the inspection team visited the 2024 Cryptic Well Holographic Electromagnetic Exploration Project Office and conducted a detailed inspection of the instruments and equipment as well as the project office’s safety documentation. Afterwards, the inspection team went to the field transmitter station site, listened to reports from on-site technicians on the progress of the construction work, and emphasized key aspects such as vehicle safety, field operation safety, and noise control.
On March 28, the inspection team visited the Fracturing Monitoring Project Office at the Changning H73 platform, where they gained a detailed understanding of the project’s progress and conducted a safety inspection of the launch station. The inspection team emphasized that we are currently in spring—a season characterized by dry weather—and a peak period for agricultural activities and sacrificial fires. Therefore, the project office must, based on the actual conditions of field operations, develop appropriate safety precautions and ensure that safety measures are meticulously planned, thoroughly implemented, and rigorously enforced, particularly in areas such as migrant worker management, fire prevention, and electrical safety.
